I'm just one person, and Bridgetown is simply a collection of music by people that I've formed relationships with by running it for the past ten years - a very small sampling of friends I respect, relate to, admire and hang out with.

There's a lot of great music out there but this is a very personal project for me that serves as a home for peers I feel a genuine connection with, people I'm a friend and fan of, who have also supported and connected with the other artists cataloged here in some form as well.
This isn't meant to discourage friends or people who really feel like they understand or enjoy what I do with the label from getting in touch and sharing what they're up to. After all, I can't keep tabs on everything that's happening out there in the sea of sponsored ads in our digital hangouts. After 137 releases, there are only 4 artists on the label who I haven't met, because they live in other countries. Everyone here was a stranger at one point, but isn't anymore. How that changed is a different story for each of them.
Shipping:
I ship all orders from California via USPS First Class or Media Mail depending on weight within 1 or 2 days.
For international orders, most of the shipping cost is in the first item. Postage alone on a single tape overseas is about $10 now. Ordering multiple tapes at once brings the overall shipping cost down for both of us.
